About me

KARTING

From 2003 until 2005 I competed in go-karting. I mostly drove with a shifter Lenzo-Kart with a 125cc 6-speed TM-Racing or Suzuki cross engine. I managed to win one club championship. Due to circumstances the decision was made to stop with karting, as it was almost impossible to compete against factory supported teams with unlimited resources.

SIM-RACING

After go-karting my racing was mostly focused on sim-racing, this was long before it got popular. The first sim-titles I got my hands on were GTR and GTR2, these were based on the official FIA GT Championship, including the famous 24 hours of Spa. I initially focused on offline racing and creating content, around 2012 I joined the EEC community to have fun and compete in championships.

During my time at EEC I managed to win different events, podiums and championships. We competed almost every Sunday evening in different championships and cars including Touring Cars, Prototypes and GT’s, based on its real-life counterparts. In December 2017 EEC had its real last event with the Sepang 2-hour event. I organised this and included prizes and real teams. I entered the race myself and won the Porsche Cup class for Asian powerhouse Absolute Racing.

MCLAREN GT / STRAKKA RACING

In 2017 the factory McLaren GT team in Blancpain GT Series, Strakka Racing, organised a design competition. The goal was to come up with a art design for the team’s McLaren 650S GT3 that entered in the PRO-class with factory drivers Álvaro Parente, Ben Barnicoat and Côme Ledogar. I won the design competition and, as a prize, the design was added on the car. I joined the weekend as VIP guest for the Spa 24 Hours weekend and got a few hotlaps as co-driver in a GT3 car.

CF-RACING

The Porsche of Charlie Frijns drove in the Porsche Cup Middle East and Porsche Supercup with a design I created. Using the FRIJNS company colors made the car stand out.

TEAM RACEART

Carworld Motorsport was the first team I designed for and later became Team RaceArt. They competed with different cars including Corvette, Mosler, Porsche and BMW.
